Every good adventure needs a map, and Tea and Tales is becoming a complicated enough publication I thought a bit of a guidebook would be handy!

First, what kind of stories are we talking about?

If you like stories that…

🌟are heavily inspired by mythologies from around the world

🌟heroes who believe that hope, goodness, and a cozy hearth with a pot of tea are worth fighting for

🌟have atmospheric vibes of a deep forest, foggy, moss-covered mountains, herb gardens, magic potions, a wizard’s library, and flocks of corvids perched on broken stone walls

🌟aren’t afraid to wrestle with difficult themes

then this is the place for you!

I’m H. A. Titus, a storyteller who has been writing since I was old enough to fold paper into little booklets and scribble out wobbly letters with a pencil. Nothing makes me happier than to snuggle into a cozy chair by the fire with a pot of good tea and a stack of books, or a notebook and fountain pen, or my Kindle Scribe, and while away the hours by spinning stories.

I write all genres of fantasy—from cozy to nobledark, epic to urban fantasy. Welcome to Tea and Tales—I hope you’ll join me on an adventure!

Second: Sections

Tea and Tales is my monthly author newsletter. This is packed with links to stories I’ve recently published, chit-chat about events in my life, publication announcements, and things I’ve been reading/watching/playing. Good for anyone who just wants to keep up with when I release stories!

Spinning Storyworlds is where I share my serialized novels/novellas. Spinning Storyworlds posts are always once a week on Fridays, except for when I’m taking a break (generally only between novels, and don’t worry, I’ll let you know when they are!). Occasionally I will share a text-only short story there as well (though these do not have a set schedule.)

Glamour Dust is my bimonthly podcast where I share text and audio versions of a short story on the first Wednesday of every other month. I also sometimes post Glamour Dust Bonuses—these tend to be shorter stories or based off of prompt exercises. Bonuses usually only get a text version, although sometimes I managed to sneak in an audio version too.

Third: Subscriptions

With a FREE subscription, you get:
